Avoid Static Electricity

Take precautions against the damaging effects of static electricity. During winter months when the air is particularly dry, you can carry as much as 15,000 volts of electricity. The delicate micro circuitry of your computer is no match for that kind of abuse.

Antistatic carpeting and furniture, proper grounding, carefully monitored air humidity, and good common sense will all help eliminate computer problems caused by static electricity.
