Report
your important bird sightings to one of the following:
Mary Jo
Gibson of Hobbie is recruiting birders to help her put together a
bird list for Camp Louise. Her e-mail is mjgibson@epix.net.
Summer is a lovely time to go birding in a forested Girl Scout camp.
Jon Beam has
asked that NBBC members send him their bird observations from Montour
County. Jon is the PA Birds county editor for Montour County. For
Montour County, this information can be send to Jon through e-mail at jdbeam@pplweb.com
or regular mail at Jon D. Beam, PPL Montour Preserve, 700 Preserve
Road, Danville, PA 17821 or dropped off at the office.
Doug Gross is
the compiler for Columbia County. Of course, any compiler needs dates
and observations of birds you encounter. County reports cover
quarters of the year (Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep; Oct-Dec) and each
county compile must submit the compiled report no later than one
month after the end of the quarter (Apr, Jul, Oct, Jan). If anyone is
interested in providing bird sightings, compilers need the following information:
*Name of Observer
*Date of Observation
*Location
(Township or place or road/street name)
*Species of
birds observed during the quarter (numbers of each species and
no longer required)
For Columbia
county, send info to Doug Gross OTC Chairman / PSO President; 144
Winters Road, Orangeville, PA 17859

Please share
your bird observations with others.
