The North Branch Bird Club held its Annual Banquet on Saturday, April 16th at Russell's Restaurant, downtown Bloomsburg.

Our banquet speaker was Bob Mulvihill, the Project Coordinator for the PA Breeding Bird Atlas. Bob is a very energetic and enthusiastic speaker who has a great depth of knowledge of and experience with the state's birds. Bob has been a biologist at Powdermill Nature Reserve for many years, banding hundreds of birds and working on research projects on birds like Dark-eyed Juncos and Louisiana Waterthrushes. He was a Regional Coordinator for the 1st PA Atlas so he has a real appreciation for grassroots volunteer bird projects. The program had terrific graphics and photos.
